Carina and teaching

Carina aims to share her experience and knowledge with others. She implements that within the creation phases of her artistic works and projects, dance schools and educational facilities/state schools. Within her regular dance classes the voice of dance, creativity, technique and energy can be initiated and shared. The students can feel free to embody and bring in line their individual bodies, anatomies and passion in dance. 2014 she assisted a colleague during her graduation project of the master subject “Dance in educational facilities/state schools” at the German Sport University Cologne. In working with children and youngsters the individual creativeness of them will be activated and expressed within a given framework of subject, ideas, dance games/tasks and little basics of classical and contemporary dance/ballet. Related to this her works with children and youngsters were shown at the DYNAMO/Young Dance Platform.

She taught and teaches ballet/classical dance, modern and contemporary dance, urban dance/hiphop, creative dance for children/pre- ballet and yoga at the following schools and facilities:

In Cologne besides she was working with a stroke patient once a week for two years. Here for example she developed little movement patterns for fingers, hands and feet to stabilize the motor function. Also movement patterns for mobilizing individual body parts, for the sense of rhythm and for strengthening the weak and disabled half of the body in relation to the one more functional. Also part of it has especially been improvisation and copying each others movement to music and sound stimulating mind, body and soul. One painting part (inspired by Daria Halprin) and one meditation in the end.
